The Teacher

 You think you know someone and that they are your person forever, convinced you are destined to be together. But at what cost? 

Eve thought she knew Nate. Nate thought he knew Eve. Addie thought she knew Nate. Kenzie thought she knew Nate. Eve thought she knew Hudson/Jay. But did they really know each other, was it really written in the stars like they all thought it was?

Addie a young, troubled, naive teenage girl who's life completely changes in her sophomore year. After a scandal last year, she is planning on starting fresh. Little did she know what was to come...she is a lover of English, writing and poetry never did she think she would become the lover of her English teacher Nate Benett or as Addie called him 'Nathaniel.' 

Addie becomes sucked into Nates charisma and charm. He supports her, comforts her and treats her with the type of kindness and love she has never received before. Everything seems perfect in her sixteen-year old mind. What teenage girl wouldn't attention off the hottest teacher in the school? Addie becomes blinded by the fact she is being groomed by a 40 year old married man and will do anything to make sure Nate is hers and only hers.

Nate's wife Eve recognises that Nate no longer loves her, whilst she has a man on the side, she will never leave him...unless given a very valid reason to. Eve catches Nate and Addie kissing in school - she feels sick to her stomach, her husband having an affair is bad enough but with a sixteen year old child. This is when everyones world comes crashing down around them. Eve threatens Nate and forces him to call it off with Addie, Addie threatens Eve accept Addie takes it a step too far and nearly murders her. She rings Nate in a panic he comes like a knight in shining armour to the rescue. They both think she is dead and they plan to bury her secretly and plan it as though she has gone 'missing'. Just one problem, Eve is not dead. Eve is buried alive and manages to escape and get the revenge she always wanted by killing Nate herself with the help of her man on the side Jay. 

Kenzie...you will despise Kenzie from page one until we get towards the end, she was also a victim of Nate, at fourteen Nate promised her the world just like he did with Addie and Eve...yes, Eve was one of Nate's students back in the day, she fell for him so hard they married each other and started a life together.

The Teacher is a messy story with many many twists and turns, the ultimate page turner. But there is a true, deeper meaning behind it. You truly never know anyone, not even yourself and you never know when your world might come crashing down like a ton of bricks. You never know when someone around you will change for the worst. So take a moment. Appreciate where you are. Enjoy your surroundings because you truly never know when everything could change and fall apart.
